Forgotten Kasbah

Steps dried up through the centuries,
Consumed by sun, defeated by history:
Rotten ruins from remote worlds rising up.

Around the corner another track,
Originally hidden and untouched
To thirsty eyes, searching for discoveries.

Ancient paints, as amenities, paling on the walls
Scattered witnesses from former times
Plained now, left abandoned to their silence.

Dust and desolation slides away,
Forgotten shells from empty seas
Searching for their soul, sinking towards eternity.

Mysterious Commencement

Opaque sand melted into water
Reflected in the clouds, heavy all around.

Strained streams broken up;
Golden veins flowing through.

Mysterious sea at its commencement,
Lying down to mystical horizons.

No waves breaking up the space
To the spread brightness stain.

Humid silence and no dimension:

Unforeseen call for attention,
A boat stands up at the edge
Where elements evolve impalpable lights

Broken clouds released to original emptiness
Remote from land, dissolved through the sea,
Enlightened by the mute Harmony,
Disappearing slowly.

The boat slides away as the light falls down:
The last palpitation before the night.

To the Light

Bright, opened up as an eye watching wide.

Light falls down from sky to sea;
No waves, no wind, facing the end:
Silence now of daily sounds and wish.

A sward pierces the light.
Confused before the immensity,
Concrete a cross points up to the sky:
A silver way behind it, endless through the sea.

Lying on rocks, the humid stillness cold around:
By accident, no real reason, I am here.

Empowered by the light, the Cross claims the unanswered.
My liquid soul already shining, melting through the water.

I have been too long.
I have to leave.
My shoulders to the Cross:
Mute.
I hear the waves.

Dispersed through the mist, the last light before the night.

Frozen Waves

Rotten waves stand still: frozen in their last attempt for a way through.
Running one after another
Drawn to unforeseen destinations,
were turned up into ice.

The cold Master of their disgrace shouting: my body at its command.

Nothing of its power can be captured by my eyes.
Nothing moves: the Master reigns dissolved around.
No witness to its strength; its pitiful anger displayed.

Immovable ruins: the water is now silence.
The wind hits unseen.

The bench faces me before the immensity.

Almost unsure, it turned its back to the iced-up sea, indifferent to its efforts while dying to eternity.
It is now the last resort before this ultimate fall.

Once here the extreme war:
Frozen ruins engaged against the same wind I am fighting.

The Master shouts: His signature will not be on my picture:
The masterpiece anonymous forever.

The bench faces me; it retains no memory.

Its cold welcoming attitude ignored, as was the extreme war, time ago, the night It transformed the sea into ice.

I leave.

The wind cries over the silent immovable battlefield.

The Presence I felt, the presence It cried disappeared now,
neglected and abandoned as a result of Its strength.
